Big White's Most Unique Cabin

Designed and created in the early years of Big White in the village by a recently graduated architect, the ROCK combines rustic appeal with modern convenience in a cozy inviting environment. One of Big White Mountain's first dwellings and certainly one of a kind, the quiet and relaxed atmosphere of the 1960's and 1970's still prevails.

Centrally located in the 'Old' Village area of Big White, all amenities are a short walk away. Pull in to the ROCK's level on-site parking and forget the car. The grocery store and village centre mall is a six minute round trip stroll.

Outside the Cabin you'll find a deck big and strong enough to park a snowcat on. We opted for a BBQ and the soothing 8 human hot tub.

There's nothing rocky about our sleeping arrangements, the International Room and the Loft are up on the main floor. Two more bedrooms downstairs named after a couple favorite runs provide room to comfortably sleep 8. Ample bedding and towels are provided - but feel free to bring your favorite quilt or pillow.
The Rock has been a smoke free environment for almost two decades. This policy is non negotiable
NO IF'S, AND'S, OR BUTT'S.
(Just want to be clear- pun intended)
Inside the ROCK you'll find a traditional rock fireplace (burns real wood), TV/VCR, stereo, phone, a small bathroom with a big rock shower, and a compact well equipped kitchen (no rocks - just a sharpening stone) A large collection of small rocks and a couple of, well .... big rocks.
